Welcome to the blogosphere! Keep up the good work!
Dear John and Allen:
This is a test of the TROLL ALERT SYSTEM. This is only a test:
YOU GUYS SUCK. YOU RACIST NAZI PATRIARCHAL CAPITALIST MURDERING OIL-CRAZED PHILISTINE PATRIOTIC IDIOTS SUCK.
This concludes this test of the Troll Alert System. If this had been an actual troll, you would proceed to the movable type control panel and activate the DELETE COMMENTS protocols outlined in your Top Secret users manuals. You will both need to insert the keys you wear around your necks at all times, and they must be turned SIMULTANEOUSLY for the comment to be deleted. And may God help us all if you fail...
Good luck guys. You deserve it.
John and Allen,
This has to be the best addition to the Blogosphere since, well since Bill started 'Eject!Eject!Eject!'.
You are, of course, entirely too kind to yours truly. Truth be told, if I can do anything at all to bring your excellent work to a bigger audience, I'm the one who's honored, because you guys are just so damned talented that I can't find words to describe it!
You've been added to the Imperial Council, because merely adding you to the 'roll wouldn't be nearly good enough.

Those spit takes are hell on my keyboard
Misha ... The Imperial Council?! We are honored.
Bill ... Whoa! Be careful there. I haven't had time to install the sarcasm filter and you almost triggered the auto destruct. :-)
I love your work, and I have purchased a copy of your book as a gift. Sadly it was shipped directly to the recipient and now I must buy my own copy and hide it! Your stuff is absolutely wonderful, and in many cases, a drink advisory needs to be issued. Delighted that you have your own site now. Keep up the great work, and when will there be a new book? Put one out for Channukah and Xmas giving, guys. It would make my life easier! If anyone hasn't bought the book yet, what are you waiting for?! My son thoroughly ennjoyed it. If you read the blogs and love the Emperor, you will love the book.
Thanks for the warm and fuzzies. We'll keep thrwoing it up there and see what sticks....
I must admit that the intense amity that comes with blogship is akin to running around with that ridiculous Olympic flame, making sure that it arrives to the next open-armed pollyanna who then passes it along to the next wide-eyed wunderkind.
Don't ya just want to take it and whip it into the nearest body of water?
Nah, John, that would be an extreme waste of perfectly good fire.
Personally, I'd shove it down the throat of the nearest Frog for Appeasement.
After I forced him to drink a quart of lighter fluid, of course.
Allen and John; What a great site. One of these days when you guys are standing on the stage of the Waldorf Hysteria accepting some huge prize for your talents, I can tell anyone who may be around me, "I know those guys. I really do!"
The world is ready for your stuff now, let it rip!
Whoa! John, don't waste perfectly good fire. All you need is some meat to make the system complete.
I feel like I had twins. My first child born this week and a Cox and Forkum blog.
Mazel Tov guys!!!!!
Congrats on the family addition, J. Lichty.
Congrats on the launch and thanks for the great toons.
Your cartoons are not only intelligent and funny, the artwork is excellent!
Keep up the great work.

Toons are cut in half using a Netscape browser. I know you can fix it.
Could you guys be the fifth horseman(men) of the Ablogalypse?
Congratulations! Thanks for opening a weblog and generously sharing your talent with the rest of us. I already bookmarked & blogrolled you. Now all I have to do is click on that button and get a copy of your book. I can hardly wait.
Rob ... Apparently it's a problem with our blog application, Movable Type. I'm looking into it. Sorry for the trouble. I'm hoping the latest versions of Netscape aren't problematic. I've yet to encounter problems with IE, though. If you can run IE, please try it with that in the meantime.
(By the way ... I just noticed that in my Netscape, if you click on the date on the calendar -- March 2 -- you can look at the cartoons individually, just press the << button above the cartoon. Unfortunately, they are still partially obscured.)
I anxiously await for a Cox & Forkum calendar!
Love your cartoons!
congratulations!! Now I can drop by and get my daily dose of fun. You guys are great!
I've been a fan ever since I saw your stuff over at LGF, and have always wanted more. Yes, I should buy the book, but this is a nice complement. :þ
Between you two, Scrappleface, Happy Fun Pundit, and Dave Barry, I shall never lack for web-based amusement. Huzzah!

RE: A Request
Would you gentelmen consider doing a cartoon based on the Four Horsemen of the Ablogalypse?
And would you put in Bill Whittle as Hell on a winged horse? Hell, follows Death, the last of the four horsemen.
Keep up the Good Work...
...we're all excited.
Congrats on your site - delighted that you're here! I'm waiting for the calendar and a coffee mug :)
Welcome! I was happy to see Charles at lgf bring your cartoons to a larger audience. I first found you in TIA (excellent writing and analysis, highly recommended) and was pleasantly surprised and glad to see someone doing work I could respect and enjoy. I've never seen you go wrong - a rare thing anywhere.
I look forward to daily visits.
Great site, guys. Just gave you a plug over at ACT.
I love the recent Chirac cartoon!
You guys are awesome, keep up the fantastic work...
Congrats are in order! Great cartoons, and I am now sure that you both will pick up the mantle of the immortal Jeff McNelly.
Thanks everyone for the encouragement! HEAD...TOO...BIG...MUST...VISIT MOTHER...RECIEVE...HARSH...DOSE OF...REALITY...
Actually the ideas are coming hard and fast. I tell Allen all the time: "They haven't seen anything yet!" I'm anxiously awaitng the presidential campaigns to start in earnest and the inevitable pap the gets presented. Looking forward to witnessing Iraqi surrender and the boisterous aftermath.
Glad you guys are online now, I've just gotten dribs & drabs of your work through LGF.
Cool, you can be sure I'll link to your new stuff as it comes out (for my 1-2 readers :P )
Keep up the good work.
p.s. can MT allow for obfuscated e-mail addresses? I.e. someone-at-somewhere-dot-com
Lately, things are looking up. First Bill Whittle, now you guys! Congratulations,
best wishes and sincere thanks.
What to add? You guys Rule!
Everyone ... Thanks for all the praise, encouragement and plugs. It is genuinely overwhelming and deeply appreciated. And the inquiries for T-shirts and calendars are wonderful, but I gotta move some of these books first!
Jeff ... I assume you mean in the comments section? I've never tried it (I'm very new to MT.) However, we're presently set up so that e-mail addresses aren't required -- perhaps you could add the obfuscated e-mail to your comment, if you wanted.
Woo-Hoo!! This is tremendous!! Of course, it had to be... if blogosphere royalty like Misha, Rachel and Whittle love you, then you're in like Flynn!! Keeping the Windex next to my monitor....
This made my day. A blog from my favorite cartoonists is just cool. I've been a fan since I saw your stuff on LGF.
That's it! You guys are going right to my 'Wicked Good Blogs' links. No stop off at 'New Finds', but right to the top! I've loved what I've seen at LGF and now I'll be able to get it directly from the masterminds themselves.
Great work you guys. Welcome to the Blogosphere.
Can I get an autographed copy of the book?
I can just picture Ted Rall quivering in the corner over there, sucking his thumb and whimpering. Outstanding stuff!
How about a PocketPC / Palm friendly version of the 'toon of the day?
Allow me to add my somewhat belated welcome and congratulations. Like many of those here, I have been a fan ever since I saw your work on LGF. And congratulations on your book. I'm sure that I'll find a place on my coffee table for it (I may have to use the space reserved for, um, coffee).
Love your work ... ordering your book. Keep it up.
