Thank you! I needed a laugh.
I mean, if you can't trust the leader of a people's democracy, who can you trust?
Maybe instead of Virgil leading us through the levels of hell, Jimmah is leading us through the varying levels of inept and incompetent leaders...
Given Carter's history of knob-slobbing over communists of any kind, this shouldn't have been a suprise to the rest of us.
I hope his peace prize is printed in red, for the blood of all the people he's turned a blind eye to.
A message regarding the other comments: Hey, don't be knocking Jimmy. A forecaster who is wrong 95% of the time is far more useful than a forcaster who is correct 60% of the time. You just have to have the wisdom to recognize that Jimmy is wrong 95% of them time and then his predictions are very useful.
BTW, glad you got your own site. I'll be adding it to Solport's links shortly.
You guys are great! I will be looking forward to new cartoons!
I guess you guys forgot about how Bush called North Korea part of an "Axis of Evil".
I'm sure you have 'witty' comebacks++. I can't wait.
Axis of Evil,
I'm hoping that comment is congratulatory in tone.
I agree that it is amazing that Bush's (in)famous words have been proven to be correct in each situation-Iraq, Iran, and N. Korea. Those who criticize Bush's courage to confront evil at its source have no moral compass.
Liberals who search for the "root causes" of terrorism should be all to attuned to the fact that the disastrous appeasement policies of Carter, Clinton and the UN have landed us where we are today.
Axis of Evil ... A witty comeback to what?
Lemme see. Mr. Kim is the son of the original leader, and if I recall correctly, is grooming *his* son to take over.
Did I miss the announcement? This looks more like an absolute monarch exercising Primogeniture than a Stalinist change of power........
I'm confused...do you or do you not get this cartoon? It's about Carter's insipid trust that a dictator will abide by ANY agreement.
Are you suggesting Kim is in the right?
John ... I think Rick was just making an observation there.
Actually, you have a list of tyrants you could have placed in front of Mr. Carter and the cartoon would still have made perfect sense. Problem is, of course, Mr. Carter never revisits his disasters to question what went wrong. Like a good little hammer-wielder, he just pushes ahead to the next project and to hell with the destruction and ruins he's left behind.
But then, he IS a humanitarian.
